The Carcass Procedures menu item is a summary of the proceedures used to judge the carcass show. The procedures were last updated on 6/11/07.
BED Carcass Index System
The Carcass Index menu item shows the current rules used to calculate the BED Index from the measured carcass traits. The current rules were established 5/1/07. These rules are also used in the Beef Empire Steer Trial (BEST) Contest.
